Build an amazing graphic cane with the illusion of woven lines. Students will receive patterns and step-by-step directions for building a complex “Celtic” knot patterned cane which is designed to interlock and repeat into pattern. From this one cane students will build a series of canes by cutting, reforming, and recombining it, manipulating each piece differently, exploring the possibilities of infinite pattern variation.

Using cane work, construct a fitted bracelet with an invisible elastic closure that is both beautiful and easy to wear. Choose from either a “tile” style bracelet or a fitted bangle bracelet and learn about design, curved holes, using forms, and the essential finishing work that will make your piece spectacular
