In this afternoon hands-on workshop, Patsy will assist you in using ordinary household items plus clay to make functional clay pieces. You can make pins, buttons or bowls of various sizes. After this class, you will look at all curved surfaces with a whole new attitude.

MATERIALS LIST:
CLAY... any clay you have as scraps (to make slump molds if you wish)

Skinner Blends work great as will any canes

slumps-- light bulbs, large serving spoons, (small baby spoons make nice earrings!), metal bowls without any seams or stamped printing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BASIC POLYMER CLAY KIT:
pasta machine & 1 or 2 C-Clamps (the regular clamp doesn't work well on these tables)
tissue blade
needle tool
roller
ceramic or marble tile (for a smooth working surface) - at least an 8X8 (I recently discovered that a 'smooth' mouse pad works well and is very light weight)
baby powder, corn starch, water, or Armoral for release medium
wax paper or parchment paper or saran wrap
Baby wipes
